While kids can do assessments at either Bard for consideration to both schools, the way each school handles the notifying process is quite different.

Bard Queens lets you know when you should be hearing from them about interviews (this is new this year):

Bard Manhattan is not so specific:

Neighborhood assessment- Wednesday, Sept. 26, 2018- Email notifications for the interview will begin at the end of October
General Education Students
Saturday, Sept. 29, 2018- Email notifications for the interview will begin at the end of October
Wednesday, Oct. 3, 2018- Email notifications for the interview will begin at the beginning of November
Monday, Oct. 22, 2018 at 4:30 p.m. full if someone cancel space will be available click HERE to check availability

The challenge is when you find out about interviews after applications are due. Last year Bard Manhattan was running late letting families know about interviews, which were happening well into January. I would suggest, if you haven’t heard back from the school and you think you should have, it doesn't hurt to be in touch with them see what your status is.
