DOE HS admissions workshops AND arts based high school applications workshops for middle school parents

The DOE is hosting family workshops about the admissions process in all five boroughs in June. Click here to find dates and to register. I’ll post this info on the HS411 calendar and important dates page as well:

Last year they introduced the then brand new My Schools website so families who attended the workshops at least had a sense of how to navigate the website a bit. If you can’t make it to one of the workshops they generally post the presentation online.

PLUS, they’re also hosting workshops about applying to arts-based high schools (thanks Amy for sharing!) - this might be something you’d consider attending if you have a child interested in arts based programs.

Curious to hear if anyone else was sent this info from middle schools - the info isn’t on the DOE website.
