outdated or misinformation on school websites

I recently heard from a parent who found open house info on a high school website and then realized it was info from last year.

BEWARE! Not all high schools are great about taking down outdated info from their website which can be misleading and frustrating.

Some schools leave info about last year’s open houses/tours up after the events have past, which can lead to momentary confusion if you’re looking for current info. Like right now at Murrow:

Beacon too has last year’s info:

http://www.beaconschool.org/admissions/open-house-information/

Even more misleading is what’s up at Eleanor Roosevelt right now where they don’t mention a year:

At first glance it can be easy to see info and assume it’s up to date. My advice, read carefully to make sure you’re looking at current info and if you have questions, be in touch.
