Specialized high schools

Admissions to NYC's specialized high schools (excludinh LaGuardia) is on a test only basis. One test given in late October, early November. The SHSAT is changing for fall 2017 - scrambled paragraphs will no longer be on the test and are being replaced with multiple choice reading comprehension questions.

LaGuardia has a separate audition/portfolio process. Please note that every school has a different set up - not all have parent coordinators, not all can be contacted by email. We're sharing what's out there.
