HS411: some extra University Neighborhood/touring in general info

Whenever I send out touring info, it’ll be formatted like my previous email:

school name, links to more info, zoom/in person break outs, dates

Keep in mind every school, and I mean EVERY school handles touring differently, from when, how often, and how.

University Neighborhood ticks every box: zoom and in person, during the school day, evenings, weekends. They host options until just before applications are due. They have registration (in person) and no registration (zoom). They are not the norm. You’ll see as we get more into the season that most schools don’t offer so many options. Some only do virtual. Most offer nothing during the school day.  Some will ask you to register for in person and/or zoom or not at all. I’m here to help you stay on top of it  all.

The specialized high schools generally only offer one open house each (Stuy has 2, based on boroughs).

As you register make sure you note down dates somewhere so you don’t double book—that’s easy to do when things start getting busier.

All this info is on the HS411 website, listed on the CALENDAR, in IMPORTANT DATES, and also on the TOURING SPREADSHEET.
