Below are the DOE dates for this season’s high school process.
Some quick notes: there is no advantage to registering or submitting applications/materials early. Just make sure you register/apply before the deadlines.
Public school students will take the SHSAT at their middle schools during a school day. Everyone else will take it a central DOE location on a weekend. Will send out more info along the way.
Tues, Oct 7, 2025: High School Application, LaGuardia Application, and Specialized High Schools Admissions Test (SHSAT) Registration Opens
Fri, Oct 31, 2025: SHSAT Registration Closes
Wed Dec 3, 2025: High School and LaGuardia Applications Close
Thurs, Mar 5, 2026: High School Offer Release
